Glad tidings and welcome to Green lanes presents Santa live from the North Pole. A truly festive event for old and young alike. Buzzlewick and his team of Elves have been tasked by Santa to build the most wonderful magical mechanical machine to help him spread the festive spirit to all the children around the globe. The elves have been working hard and have a very exciting announcement to make.

The Santa telecommunication device is now complete, and you will be invited to travel to our winter wonderland to be the very first humans to fire up the magnificent machine and talk to Santa all the way from the North Pole. There is even better news. Santa is so excited about this momentous occasion that he has arranged to have some very special North pole keepsake packages created and these will be sent from Santa’s office using the polar portal direct to the children visiting our winter wonderland. 

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Santa’s head elf Buzzlewick. You will be invited to step through the magical wardrobe which will transport your family to a magical winter wonderland where you will make your way amongst the snow-covered trees to our icy igloo. Make yourself comfy as Santa’s telecommunication device whirrs into life. Santa will magically appear from his office in the North pole and talk to all the children before delivering a very special keepsake gift via the wondrous North Pole portal

How the experience will work.

Buzzlewick the elf very much looks forward to welcoming you to this year’s wonderfully festive experience here at Green Lanes.

Buzzlewick will be on hand at the entrance to welcome you and to guide you on your way, through the doors and into a Winter wonderland, you will be able to make yourselves comfortable inside of an igloo and wait for the telecommunication device to link you up directly to the North Pole, where Santa will be waiting to take your video call. Through the wonders of North Pole magic, the elves have devised a very special North Pole Portal that very cleverly delivers the child’s gift straight to the igloo.

What safety measures will be in place

When you visit, we will have safety measures in place. Please respect the rules and guidelines for your own protection and the safety of others. Those that do not follow the guidelines may be asked to leave or refused entry. Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.

We promise to keep you safe by:

Restricting visitor numbers to those within your family or bubble.

Offering a contact free system. Including contact free gift delivery.

All staff will be behind a screen or wearing a face covering, in line with current government guidelines.

Cleaning all contact point in between each group of visitors.

Hand sanitising station close by.

What we ask of you in return:

Book an arrival time online.

Arrive for your session promptly.

Adhere to the maximum number of visitors in your booking.

Observe social distancing rules.

Wear a face covering in line with current government guidelines (usual exemptions apply) Face coverings may be removed for photographs.

Santa Experience

Pre-booking your tickets is essential, we will not be accepting any form of payment on the day.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please ensure you arrive promptly for the time you have booked to avoid queuing and to allow for social distancing. If you miss your timeslot, we cannot guarantee entry.

We will ask the name and for 1 significant fact about each child to make the experience as magical as possible. For Example, Tommy who earned a Blue Peter badge this year. 

Gifts are a traditional and authentic pack of items made by elves, at Buzzlewicks Elf Emporium. The grotto gift pack includes a naughty/nice list certificate, a traditional bespoke wooden tree ornament, a ‘believe’ elf bell, a bag of animal friendly reindeer food & a Santa’s magic key, all presented in a gift box. The gift is completely eco-friendly and plastic free. Some items may be subject to change.

Tickets

Tickets are not transferrable and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or covered by refund protection purchases at the time of booking.

All members of your party require admission tickets. There is no charge for adult tickets, but a ticket must still be booked to ensure we are keeping to our Covid precautions.

Tickets must be pre-booked online.

Tickets for children cannot be purchased alone. At least 1 member of your party should be over 18.

Tickets will remain in your basket for 15 minutes for you to complete your purchase. After this time, they will automatically go back on sale.

You will be required to show either a printout of your tickets, or the confirmation email upon your arrival.

FAQ

Why is there a booking charge?

To make the event as Covid safe as we possibly can, we have had to implement a booking only system, which makes an additional charge per ticket, we have however kept this charge as low as we possibly can and are not receiving any revenue from them. 

Can I move my booking?

Tickets are non-transferable. This is highlighted throughout the booking process and in the important information you are required to accept before completing your purchase

I wish to cancel my booking and get a refund.

Tickets are non-transferable. This is highlighted throughout the booking process. If you have purchased refund protection during the booking process, then you may cancel your booking subject to the terms and conditions that are on your policy confirmation.

Can I buy additional tickets for a time slot that has sold out?

It is not possible to buy extra tickets for dates or times that are sold out. Ticket numbers are limited to enable social distancing.

What will happen if someone in my booking is required to self-isolate due to Covid-19?

If you have taken out refund protection at the time of booking and a member of your immediate family tests positive and you’re required to self-isolate and can evidence this, then your refund will be paid by Booking protect. In all other cases a refund will not be available.

What will happen if a lockdown is in place?

If the event is cancelled due to a national lockdown, then a refund will be issued less any booking fees or refund protection charges. You will be notified by email of a cancellation and you will be notified by email when your refund has been made.

What will happen if a local lockdown is in place?

If the local lockdown is for the area Green Lanes resides and the event cannot go ahead as planned, then a refund will be issued less any booking fees or refund protection charges. You will be notified by email of a cancellation and you will be notified by email when your refund has been made.

If the Lockdown is in an area outside of the area Green Lanes resides, and the event can continue as planned then a refund will not be available.

I have lost my ticket, what can I do?

Please email info@santaforhireuk.co.uk with your reference number or Surname and Postcode and we will resend the confirmation.

Can children who are not booked in to see Santa enter the grotto?

All persons wishing to enter the grotto area must have pre-booked tickets. Babies in pushchairs will be allowed providing the total number of people does not exceed 6. No gift will be provided for the baby.

Can I take photographs inside the grotto?

Yes, and as you will only be with your own family/bubble of 6 inside, then we allow masks to be removed for photographs.
