A Barnstaple man who checked out Green Lanes Shopping Centre's website has won a "dream Valentine gift" for his wife.
Gerry Jarman (middle) is presented with the £600 diamond necklace from F Hinds sales advisor, Chris. Gerry says: "I found out about the competition on Green Lanes' website - and thought I'd have a go." Gerry's name was picked as the winner - and he was "gobsmacked" to hear the news from Centre Manager, Jan Dayman (left). Gerry and his wife, Monica, have been together for forty years - and it is Monica's birthday this week. Gerry says: "I still can't believe I won - this is the perfect present for Monica." Centre Manager, Jan, was delighted for the Barnstaple couple saying: "We ran the competition with F Hinds and are just thrilled that the winners are such deserving Valentines."
