Thousands of hopeful chocolate-lovers entered the Green Lanes Shopping Centre competition to win the one-metre high Easter egg.
Shoppers were asked to guess the weight of the giant egg, and although many came close, Levi Mountain from Bude, was the closest to the right answer – 25kg!!!
The 11 year old, is now looking forward to tucking into the delicious chocolate, but he may need a little help to crack it!
Levi said: "it was a complete surprise as my dad entered me for it. I love chocolate and I will be sharing the egg with my little sister Daisy and the rest of my family."
Jan Dayman, Centre Manager said: "We will miss having the egg in the centre – it certainly became a talking point. I am delighted it will be enjoyed by the Mountain family."
